These tasty, zesty meatball poppers are a delicious Sunday evening get together treat! I threw this recipe together last evening before visiting the awesome neighbors that live on top of The Mountain. I baked them, but they could easily be grilled for an even more savory flavor. I just made my own mouth water!

Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place 21 toothpicks in water to soak so they won't catch fire in the oven. Mix hamburger with salt, season salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, egg, BBQ sauce and milk. Form into one-inch balls and bake for 30 minutes. While this is baking, chunk the peppers and onions into one-inch pieces and cut the cheese slices into one-inch squares. When the 30 minutes are up, remove the meatballs from the oven. Place on top of each meatball in this order: pepperoni slice, cheese square, onion square dipped in BBQ sauce, green pepper square dipped in BBQ sauce. Now stab those babies with the soaked toothpicks, and return to oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is flopping itself over the meatball. If you melt it too long, it will become runny. You want floppy, not runny! Enjoy!!
