I love me a bowl of baked oatmeal! When I started my health journey, I adapted my favorite recipe to make it more friendly to my waist. I never proclaim that my recipes are THM because, frankly, I don't have the time to mess with the exactness of it, so I do my best and I have good results, thank you very much! 🙂

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup egg whites beaten lightly
- 1 cup almond milk or whatever you use
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce OR 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 cup sweetener I use brown sugar mix from any THM style cookbooks. This makes this recipe in my opinion.
- 1 teas Salt
- 1 teas cinnamon
- 2 teas baking powder
- 3 cups old fashioned oats

Instructions
- Beat egg whites lightly, add milk and applesauce. In a separate bowl mix brown sugar mix, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and old fashioned oats. Stir until well mixed. Add egg whites, milk and applesauce and mix well. Grease a 9x13 pan and spread mixture evenly across the pan. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until a golden brown across the top. Serve with warm milk or even cream! Add fresh fruit! Enjoy!
