These my shoes.

These are my cute converse shoes. (So say my Mom and sisters.)
I never ever walk in them, but I dance all the time, in my heart.
They never physically walk me into trouble, but I somehow get in trouble. A lot. Mostly by dumping things.
I never get to run in them. But you should see the wind in my sails when I get turned loose in my chair!
These shoes will never take me onstage as a famous musician, but I’m right up there with Celtic Thunder, Alan Jackson and Conrad Fisher. Basically one of their band members!
My converse shoes will never walk me up to the pulpit to preach a great, powerful message, but I’ve been nominated the most spiritual person in church.
I will never be a great counselor in these shoes of mine, But I know without you telling me when you are hurting.

I wear converse shoes because Mom and the sisters think they are cute. These shoes walk me places without going a mile. I see and hear many things. I know many things.
